“ Welcome aboard foodies and history buffs! Recently, we went to a fun place on our way to Manitou Springs, CO that we must share with all of you. Our friends recommended the Airplane Restaurant to us, and boy, were we in for a unique dining experience! Picture this: a restaurant fashioned literally from an airplane, with a building constructed off it. As we walked in, we were transported back in time with the nostalgic memorabilia from the plane's active days. We were presented with a delightful dilemma - choosing between dining inside the restaurant, that resembled a museum or indulging in aviation history by sitting inside the plane itself. A chance like this doesn't come by often! Ambience aside, we all know it boils down to the food and service. Our order of hamburgers arrived, and let me tell you, they were cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors were on point, and the quality left us craving for more. The attentive service added an extra layer of pleasant to the whole experience. To top it off, it happened to be Jason's birthday, and without skipping a beat, our bubbly waitress surprised him with a festive ice cream sundae lit with a candle. Talk about going above and beyond to make our visit memorable! Overall, our visit to the Airplane Restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and an ambiance that oozes nostalgia made it a place we are eager to revisit and wholeheartedly recommend. “ Fun, interesting, unique, different... nice staff wearing airline type uniforms. So, we were staying at a nearby hotel and after driving 7 hours we just wanted a snack and a beer. When we arrived on a Saturday evening, there was a huge party in front of us (18 people). As they were being asked to wait for a few minutes, my companion and I were quickly escorted to a table "outside the airplane". We did not get to see the inside of the plane which might have had seating upstairs. However, we were just as happy to share an appetizer and a beer and sit under the wing of a huge plane. Really novel and cool to be there. I could not give 5 stars for a modest plate of potato skins and a beer. But service was quick and friendly. I wish the menu had small salad options. I did not want to get some enormous -- but when asked if they had soup I was delighted to learn that they had 2 options. These were not on the menu but were apparently on a sign board in the entry way which was of course crowed with 18 Italian travelers so we missed it. Still, I would go back again and even if I could not get into the plane seating area I would enjoy a meal and perhaps update my review to reflect 5 stars. ”

“ What a fun restaurant! We ate in the body of the plane and looked out on the wing!! So cool!! We had the spinach dip- there was a variety of chips, veggies but there was a very small portion of the dip. Barely came to the halfway point of the serving vessel. Other than that- portions were generous! Great burger and we all LOVED the fries!! Service was outstanding- attentive, drinks were refilled as needed. Great place to bring out of town guests!! Unique experience! Loved all of the airplane decor inside as well. ”
